Hey guys I was wondering if this is common practice or not.I was at a mall the other day and several stores had large windows (10' high by 3-4' wide). So this got me thinking how would I tackle a job like this? What would work best? It seems to me that if you soaped up the whole window at once and started squeegeeing the window by the time you got half way down let alone all the way down there's gonna be a ton of water on the floor, sill, frame etc and there going to be a increase chance ( I'm new to window cleaning) to leave streaks on the glass. So I was wondering is it common practice to do the window in two parts for example cut the window in half soap up the first half ( from the top down 5feet) ,squeegee, detail and that repeat on the second half ( the lower 5 feet ). This to me seems like it would be more controllable if this isn't common practice what is the most efficient way to hand jobs like this?
