Hello and Good Morning!
My name is Nanette Orlins and I'm co-owner of Morgan's Window Cleaning, Inc. (MWC) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. My husband, Morgan, is a second generation window cleaner and has operated the business since 1985. I joined my husband at MWC in 2012 after 25 years as CFO of a hotel management and development company. I am supposed to spend my time at MWC on business development and strategic planning as well as accounting, treasury, human resources and risk management although it seems like all I do is answer phones! My husband spends his time in a production capacity training and managing crews, bidding jobs, customer service and quality control.
MWC provides window cleaning and pressure washing services to high-end residential clients in Ponte Vedra Beach and surrounding communities. The business has really taken off in the last two years and I need help with how to successfully move forward. We are to the point that we've got more clients then we can handle. I'm in need of so many things now (hire more people, buy new vans, automate, buy a building, documenting systems and policy etc). I'm hoping I'll find some answers on this forum. In return I'd love to share what I've learned about the business so far.
