My dad gave me a few ideas for marketing during and after the job is complete. First, always give the customer a biz card upon arrival. Don't forget to respect the customers interior and wear booties. Do the best job possible and guarantee your work by returning for anything that is missed during the job. Write a thank you card and send it by mail, include another biz card. Call back in a few weeks and see if they know of anyone who would also like their windows cleaned. After completing the job, take some time to target the neighbors with door hangers or flyers stating that you just did completed window cleaning on a neighbors home (write the address of the home somewhere on the flyer/door hanger). I just did a few of these ideas and they have resulted in a few unexpected jobs.
