Thought I'd touch base with the guru's again and see how you guys/gals handle your scheduling. Where I am located, I cover a radius of probably 50km...so obviously to not bleed money in gas, i schedule one day eg North of the city, next day South etc...but I run into a few issues where the customer wants interior + exterior cleaning done, but they won't be home the day I have booked in that area. Or they request I come on a weekend when they are home. I have quite a few clients that know me now and will just leave us a key to let ourselves in, but just wondering how you respond to a customer that either works through the week, or due to their schedule, requests specific times(eg weekends) for you to show up? I know when setting up say my Cable, the cable company doesn't ask what I'm doing or what I have scheduled....they tell me a date...and if I want my cable hooked up...that's the date I have to arrange to be home!! : )
