Did a customers house a few weeks back, having been doing her for a few years. The have a "window wall" (great view),
7 panes of glass, each one 10' x 4' and each one has an electric blind. Last year I bumped one and one end cam out of the bracket pulling the screws loose. I got it off ok but she wouldn't let me put it back and called "her guy". So...this year same thing happens, same blind but this time it crashes to the floor, takes out a hunk of window sill. She is beside herself... I offer to have my insurance pay for it but she says no. Seems like the inconvenience is more the thing than the money. Yesterday she calls me and says the blind is broken, not repairable and they don't make it anymore. She has to get them all replaced and wants me to pay for them all. I tell her that's not going to happen, that I will be generous and pay for the one because I can't prove that it wasn't hung right. She says she will send me the bill for all of them and we will talk. Ok I say, and so I wait for the next scene to open.
