Unger rubber for Ninja channel

Hi Guys and Gals

I've been using a Ninja 30'' on my five store fronts for a while now, usually I'm a stay at home Dad with ambition to expand once my kid goes to school. Since I needed new rubber I purchased Unger ergo-tec at my local Janitorial supply last week, and wanted to ask for some advice,

The problem with the ergo-tec rubber is that it appears to leave multiple micro trails as the squeegee is drawn across the glass which mostly evaporates but leaves a film on the glass (occasionally) this wasn't an issue with the rubber that came with the Unger Ninja.
It means that I am spending longer detailing and I'm trying to find a solution.
I'm using very hard water at tds @ 400ppm along with GG4 and some slip added which hasn't been a big issue in the past.
I've placed the rubber in the two different levels of the Ninja channel to see if that makes a difference which it didn't, I even switched the rubber side facing the glass just in case there was an issue there but it didn't improve things. (its ergo-tech "soft" )

Is there a difference in rubber between what comes with the Ninja and the ergotech? Did I order the wrong stuff? Should I try a different brand. I can't afford to buy different types and try them particularly in the dozen or gross amounts. I would greatly appreciate your help in getting me back to producing brilliantly cleaned windows
