Your thoughts on the unger nlite hydro power di systems

Looking for everyone's input on the UNGER NLITE HYDRO POWER DI SYSTEMS.
Its a fantastic idea that Unger came up with as they really did simplify the system for any user compared to the other DI systems out on the market. From what i see on the forum the thing that is talked about the most is the cost of the system. That goes with anything that
we usually purchase whether its a pair of shoes...Going out to dinner...buying a car or even buying a home.Being a seller we think its worth every penny plus some and being a buyer we think its worth 50% less if not more.So we get the idea in our heads thinking we could build it for less and it will be better or do the same which is typical right ?
For some they have built there own systems and have turned out great ... For others it turned out to be a nightmare and ended costing them more in the long run to have someone build it for them or they just end up buying a system from a supplier.

As far as the unger NLITE HYDRO POWER DI SYSTEM goes i think it is a great idea and there are pros and cons to the system.

THE PROS
1) DI replacement is very simple ... take out and drop in and your ready to get back to cleaning
2) Portability ( depending ) which system you get makes it simple to move around from area to area if needed
3) If you have very low TDS in your area the DI will last quite a long time
4) Storing it inside in the winter or from leaving it in the back of your TRUCK / VAN
5) looks cool / great / spectacular
6) Etc, Etc,Etc...

CONS

1) Cost of DI - ordering it having to pay for shipping on top of it
2) Not great for area with TDS above 100 - 200 depending which system you purchase
3) Cost .... Depending which system you get
5) Cost of the system ... Is it really worth the price ?
6) Going to cost you quite a bit per year depending what your TDS average out in your area and which system you purchased
7) Etc,Etc,Etc....

So with all that said please give your actual input of the system for those that have one.
I know a guy in California that has the single bag DI system and he only gets roughly 14 hours of use out of it before having to replace
the DI.Seems pretty costly. I run my 3 stage RO/DI system 4-6 hours a day 5-7 days a week.
Our water here in Arizona ranges from 250 all the way up to 950+ but 85% were in the 300 - 500 range and i have not changed my RO in 3 years and i am still getting 95-98 % rejection rate.I may change out my DI maybe 2X a year and i am using a 4.5 X 20 BIG BLUE housing.UNGER HYDRO POWER DI SYSTEMS - 1 REVISED BACK GROUND REMOVAL.png
