So I have a bid I'm doing that has a lot of iron deposits from the sprinkler system all over driveway, brick fence columns, black powder coated metal fence, and brick house. I use white ox (oxalic acid) currently and it seems to work great on stucco and cement but I haven't really tried it on anything else.
4 questions from those with real experience.:
1. Is there a price per square ft on driveway rust removal you've used. It's everywhere on this one. About a quarter of the surface is rusty
2. How does oxalic do on brick and metal? F9 Barc and krud kutter rust removal never really impressed me on cement as much.
3 the last guy who did the job took off the rust but left a white haze on the brick. What is this? Oxidation? I don't think it's effervescence? The customer thinks it is.
4 anything I can recommend as far as a filtration product that will work to filter the iron?
