Scraper

I've never seen it discussed here. Could be that I just never read it or its common knowledge so it's not mentioned. I ran out of stainless blades and switched back to some old carbon ones that I had. So I sprayed the slide with wd40 put the blade on and sprayed the blade. Used it all day and didn't form any rust on the side of the slide. The side that was used and exposed had some small spots and I carefully got it all off with steel wool. Blade is just like new, no rust
