It's been almost 2 years since I last spent time here in the WCR Forum. I have decided to give window cleaning another shot. I had a residential focused company up in Kansas City until I moved to Tulsa 2 years ago to help my brother out with growing his painting business. I planned to start a new Window business here as well, but the very night I moved my equipment to town, it was stolen. SO I have been focused on painting and adjusting to a new city and feel now the time is right to get back into cleaning glass.
One of the questions is Residential vs. Commercial/Storefront
I focused mostly on residential cleaning before, and picked up a few random store fronts here and there. I always felt like the profit margins were way higher with residential , but storefronts were more consistent work.
What do you guys do? focus on one or the other? or a mix of both.
