I want to get into Residential and Store Front and maybe commercial and I am brand new to the scene and have a few questions.
1) How do you dress to go door to door or business to business when trying to get work? Do you dress in your work clothes with your equipment ready to go just in case they want something done right away or would you wear something similar to church clothes or in between?
2) How many panes of glass are in double hung windows as far as bidding goes if you bid by the pane of glass? If I were bidding inside and out on a double hung window is that 1,2, or 4 panes of glass that you would multiply your dollar amount by?
3) Do you take all the screens out as prep work before you start cleaning at a house or do you take them out as you go and how do you clean screens?
4) Do you work in the rain or does that just immediately undue the work and leave spots all over the window while you are working?
Im sure I will have more as time goes on but I am just starting a business of doing this although I have done it as a janitor at a hospital for years. I just never had to learn anything about them while I was doing my work for the hospital so now I need to learn!
