So, most of us know that our main clientele comes from the mom/housewife crowd. I'm still working for a company part-time to supplement my income, but I rarely shake hands with the client when I show up with belt and bucket ready to go. My hands are cracked and stained black... coated with aluminum from my ladders. Do most of you shake hands with your client upon arrival or departure?
If they extend their hand... that's a no brainer, but do you make an effort to shake a client's hand in this industry? I used to work in an industry where people gauge you by your handshake (sales). Are we perceived as plumbers???
