Question Window alarm contacts

When you run into a well window with an alarm contact do you get permission to remove and reaffirm the contact so you can pull the sliding pane. Most of the time the contacts pop off when you lift the unit to remove it. If you bid it over the phone or from the outside you may not catch the fact the contacts are there. Perhaps the customer is not home, just remove and replace?



i hate crawling in wells and much prefer pulling the sliding pane.
