Starting NOW: No LLC or insurance, how bad of an idea is it?

I posted a thread a few days ago about setting a goal and building up money to start my business part time on April 1. However, thinking more and more I feel like I should get out there and do it. The biggest reasons I was waiting until April was:

1.) Shop around and learn about business insurance.

2.) Get an LLC or S corp.

3.) Buy a truck or van, as well as other tools and supplies.

I sit and think about cleaning windows. I'm at work caulking windows and I'm thinking about squeegees. I see a truck with a ladder rack go by and I think "I need one of those." Part of me thinks I need to get started with this while I'm still on fire about this before I let myself get cold feet and back away.

I share a common thread with most of you guys (at least what I've read) I want to be my own boss. I want to set my own schedule. I want to be available to go to kid's ball games and school plays.

Is me going out and buying some stuff at Lowe's tonight (sorry WCR, money is tight and they are right here :)) with no LLC, insurance or anything a really bad idea? My common sense is telling me yes, and to wait, but I've never been this on fire about something.
