Yeah I know we should all be insured, i got that. The question is, have you ever put being insured out there as something that helps you sell your services?
I am guessing that that guy they have who "..comes by and does that" (I call him Dirty Harrry, and every area has one) is not insured. is it effective as a marketing tool to point out that you are insured, which protects the client from liability. Say some bypasser trips on a bucket or some of Dirty Harry's equipment scratches a car. Well if he's not insured, guess who's going to have to pay for that? Yeah. Does it pay to mention that? Could you also call a chain store's corporate office and mention that whoever is doing that now is not insured, and you are? And that you're ready to do all their stores in XYZ city weekly?
Any thoughts, experiences.
