Today I had a team servicing a house that had an issue on the front side of the house where the windows were slightly tinted. The tinting was in the manufacturing process and not an after market application. The windows were cleaned on the inside and outside. The technician on the inside thought the person on the outside wasn't rinsing the glass thoroughly enough as it "looking like some dried spots". It turned out upon closer inspection there were little spots between the panes, throughout the the front of the house, which was tinted. They didn't show the normal hazing of a broken seal, or fogging. The windows on the back of the house did not have the same problem, nor where they tinted. The spots often looked crystaline in shape. I have seen this here and there on other homes but never to the extent as on this home.
Does anyone know what the spots are from? It didn't look like typical fogging but perhaps the tinting hid some of the grey. I would be interested to know if anyone knows. Thanks
