Resin life question

Hey Guys. I am back for another quick question.

I don't post here much but I do lurk and have been around the forums for awhile.

We are a roof cleaning company, but I do windows here and there when we wash houses.

My question is about the resin in the tank. What is the shelf life when you are not using it much? I have the multi pole set up (because it is rare that we do windows) and the tank sits on my trailer unused for weeks and really months on end. So I guess there is water in there that is leftover from the last cleaning and it is baking in the sun and not moving etc. The tester reads 4 PPM now instead of the standard "0". I have searched the forum for threads about resin life but came up empty.

I do run it for a while before I use it just to clear the lines and tank out, but I am wondering if there is anything else I need to do to maybe help the life of the resin. Does it degrade just sitting there in the water that is leftover in the tank?
