Employee recruitment ethics

So this year, in my market anyway, has been the busiest year since we've started, and from talking with some other owners, it seems like everyone has been looking to hire more help this year, including my company. Throughout the year I've had my guys tell me that other window cleaning owners see them in their shirts and vehicles and are trying to get them to leave our company and work for them, promising to pay more money. I don't know if I'm being naive here, and I'm glad my guys are happy and sticking with us, but I consider that highly unethical. I would never try to recruit someone who was currently working at a job for someone else. It would be different if they approached me and asked if I was hiring because they already wanted to leave.

I realize people might say, if your employees are happy you don't have to worry about it, and I'm not worried, I just think it's totally unprofessional.

Anybody have thoughts on this? Do you agree with me here?
