Condensation makes diamond pattern visible on new glass

Hi

Has anyone on the forum come across this kind of problem before. 5 door sized panels were replaced and all show a diamond pattern when there is moisture on the pane eg. Cold evenings or when I use kettle steam to demonstrate the problem in the day time.

It's clearly visible in person but doesn't not show well on my camera. The attached picture represents the pattern I am seeing on the glass.

This doesn't clean off with soap, steel wool, citrus degreaser and melamine foam (magic eraser) or methylated spirits.

Spray on glass cleaner (!) seemed to make progress with removing it but the steam test showed no visible change.

Typically the glass companys first question was" was it your chemicals?" hence I'm only used low strength products before they get a rep out to inspect.

I'm not getting into a personal argument with a manufacturer but I would like to help my customer understand the situation. . The original panes were scratched by a general cleaner, then distorted by novus scratch repair, then replaced by her insurance.... And now this! She is a bit over it all.

It was suggested these patterns could be caused during the cooling of the glass. Does anyone know more about this?

Panes are double glazed tempered, think USA calls these IG units.

Marks are on the side inside the home only.

Thank you!
