I've got my Glass Renue system, I bought it used but never used off a fellow window cleaner. That is a story in itself, it is so old and never been used (ever) that the brushes on the grinder had corrosion and I had to fix that before I could even practice. I've watched all the You Tube on scratch removal there is (most of them twice). I've scratched then repaired glass in my shop many times........I think I'm ready.
I confirm with the contractor that we are meeting at the job to demo and discuss the scope of the work. He hits me with "it should be easy, my Andersen Rep. told me that he thinks that the scratches are in the Low coating". ???????????????? I'm hoping this is wrong information, I thought the coatings are put on the 2 and 3 sides of glass not exposed to outside. Has anyone ever heard of this? should I be scared about having to remove all the coating to become distortion free?
