Reality Check

We all get busy trying to build our business and dominate our markets and learn new skills and whatnot, but sometimes it's just useful to take a breath and remember why we do what we do.

Providing for our family.

Providing for our employee's families.

Providing for those in need.

We got burned by a franchise pretty bad, but I learned my system of doing things, I learned that I love window cleaning, and I know I can use it to build my own empire without having to pay royalties and tech fees and branding fees and whatnot. And I think I get caught up in building this empire that it's nice to get a reality check and refocus as to why. I watched this video on the internet and it's helped to remind me why I'm building my business. We want to be in a position to not only provide for our family, our employee's families, and also be able to write checks to worthy charities.

Of course we give now, but it's always nice to see how you can make an impact.

With my electrical engineering background, I can't help but hack things. Whether it's websites, computers, squeegee channels, my screen washer, or even my technique. It's also why I like watching these DefCon videos because where else can you learn how to rick roll unsecured networks in your neighborhood with a denial of service dog carrying a pineapple.
