So far, I've been using my own name as my company name (ie. "Keith's Window Cleaning"). I figured it would get my name out there as I become recognized.
I've noticed most of you have separated your name from the company name. Is there a business advantage to this compared with using the proprietor's name? I suppose if it's catchy, the name will spread more quickly.
I fear that once my business grows to a certain degree, using my personal name will make the company look small, and by then it will be too late to change the business name.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks!
