Per window pricing in ct

Hey guys, I'm a complete noob . I was just wondering how much per window you guys are charging in ct. There are a lot of pricing threads here but the information is all over the place. So on average for the CT guys what do you charge per window inside / outside and do you charge per window, per hour , per pane ? What seems to be most practical

Question Gutter installation

As many of you know working in Northeast or anywhere that gets cold our residential season can be short and fast. As a way of extending my season and keeping profitable i added Seamless gutter installation to my company about 7 months ago. I purchased a machine and got all proper licenses to preform the work legitimately and trained my two employees on install and repairs. My main question is if anyone else here has done this or has thought of this add on. I understand my marketing attack for window cleaning and what my target demographic is. Unsure if i pursue this venture in the same way. looking for any and all advice. Thanks

Identify this scratch

I did a window today that had a strange "scratch" on it. I've seen defects like this before. Almost certainly a manufacturing defect.



Imagine a typical grouping of scratches caused by a hunk of mortar being rubbed across the glass or whatever. Now imagine that scratch with a dark, metallic look to it. That's what this looks like. I've never really bothered to try to identify the cause of scratches like these, but the superintendent on this job was wondering how it could happen and i realized i didn't have an informed answer to give him.



so what's your best theory as to how these types of scratches occur? my best guess is it has something to do with the tin/float phase of the manufacturing process, since the scratch group definitely has a metallic hue to it.



also, this is NOT tempered glass. And it's not an IG unit. its just a basic piece of annealed, single pane glass.IMG_0444.jpg

Upload Your Own Postcard Design



Two weeks ago, we released the Postcard Marketing feature. Last week, we allowed you to set up one-time campaigns, and ongoing campaigns. This week, we allow you to upload your own design to your postcard campaign!



The option to upload your postcard is the first choice when creating a new postcard campaign. Make sure to upload your postcard in the right dimensions (1875x1275 pixels or 6.25x4.25 inches) so that you deliver high quality postcards to your customers. All of your uploaded designs will be saved to be available for later use.



App Invite Code for Existing Customers



You can now create your own App Invite Code to invite your customers to download the HouseCall Booking App, which will directly link that customer to you. Under "My Account" in the Company Settings, you can create your own personalized code to give to your customers. When they download the app and enter your personal code, they'll automatically be attached to your account.



This code will also make your company the default service provider for your category in the booking app. This will be a HUGE benefit to you, as your clients will now be able to find and book your services right from their phone. Can your competition offer that?

How much can you make cleaning windows? And do you still enjoy it?

Hey guys, I'm trying to start a window cleaning business. I work full time else were but I hate it I have always hated it but i make desent money (55,000) per year so I've stuck with it. I've finally realized i don't want to do this work anymore (electrician) so my question to all of you out there is for a solo operation and hopefully in the future an employee or two how much can you make? I want to change careers but I can't take a pay cut. Also for you solo ops do you still enjoy what you do or is it just a means to pay bills?
